Salima is a professional dancer, and instructor choreographer of oriental dance and flamenco-oriental fusion, originally Hungarian but based in Barcelona (Spain) since 2005.
The internationally recognized artist has performed and given classes in Morocco, Egypt, China, Malaysia, Italy, Czech Republic, the Netherlands, Israel, United Kingdom, Sweden, Hungary, Portugal, Serbia, Slovakia and several cities in Spain. The organizer of Tarabesque Festival Barcelona, former artistic director of La Compañia Sehar and co-director of Naarwamaya (dance company performing FlamenContempOriental fusion)
Her repertoire has a wide range in styles, practically all styles in oriental dance and folklore, and her speciality is flamenco-oriental fusion, Salima is one of the few oriental dancers who also has a strong background in flamenco, having studied it for more than 15 years.
Salima is charismatic and expressive as a performer, with creative musicality in her choreographies. Investigating and respecting the traditional styles of the country's origin, she is also looking for new inspirations and evolution and considers herself a lifelong student. To understand the lyrics better, she also studied Arabic for some years.
In her classes, she puts emphasis on clean technique, body awareness, and musicality and also encourages her students to use their personal expressions to give back the feeling of the music.

In order to continue learning and deepening our knowledge, we offer you this series of courses with different teachers during the new period 2022/23. This series of courses are presented in a format of 3 hours (always on Saturdays from 14h. to 17h.) to have first contact with the teacher and the content.
