These three curated sessions showcase documentaries that delve into the art, history, and social impact of Bellydance, culminating in thought-provoking discussions in a warm, welcoming atmosphere.

Session 1: The Ancient Art of Bellydancing (EN)

A captivating journey through 5,000 years of Bellydance history, culminating in a dramatized nightclub performance. Featuring rare film footage, including the iconic "Little Egypt" at the 1893 Chicago World’s Fair, this documentary combines historical visuals with interviews and live performances to paint a vivid picture of this ancient art form.

Session 2: Balady (EN)

Balady examines this question through the lens of Bellydance, offering insights into cultural narratives and gender dynamics. The project spans Cairo and Barcelona, featuring interviews, workshops, and street performances that explore the interplay between identity, body, and art in a rapidly changing world.

Session 3: The Profession (EN)
