During the Workshop:
We will explore the following actions in relation to gravity.
1. Adding Weight
2. Subtracting weight
3. Multiplying weight
4. Dividing weight
The session will be divided into 4 sections:
1st section: will be a preparation for the body by bringing a specific kind of co awareness of the body. Then we will start moving with the same awareness.
2nd section: we will be learning very simple phrases trying to apply what we have just explored.
3rd section: We will be crossing the space using small patterns of movements.
4th section: this section will be divided between improvisation and a small choreography to apply what we have learned.

For both workshops, the price is 200 CHF. For ZeoT students, 1 workshop is discounted to 100 CHF and 2 workshops cost 180 CHF.
Director, choreographer, and dancer, BA in Philosophy. Started acting and dancing through the university theater in 2006 and he started to participate in many workshops.
In 2010 he started working with Karima Mansour and joined the Cairo Contemporary Dance Center full-time program in 2012. In 2016 he joined the first Interdisciplinary Music Theater Group in Cairo. Since 2016 he started his research on the flow of the movement in the body, started from a contemporary point of view for the Sufi whirling, also using the free-fall concept. In 2017 he got the "step beyond" travel grant to attend Impulse-Tanz festival in Austria.
In 2017 and 2018 during his research on the flow of the movement, he had two residencies at Alanus University, Germany to discover more about the concept of the flow in the Eurythmie studies.
Recently he started to reflect on his culture as Egyptian, African, Middle Eastern, and Mediterranean, Since 2015 started a series of meetings and residencies between Egyptian and Italian choreographers to share their own creative questions and to have an open dialogue.IN June 2018 he performed the world premiere of the piece (Green leaves are gone) which is a co-choreographing piece between Egyptian and Italian choreographers in part of “FOCUS YOUNG MEDITERRANEAN AND MIDDLE EAST CHOREOGRAPHERS” in”
2019 He got supported by the Dutch embassy to attend HJS contemporary Dance summer course in Amsterdam.
2019 Ibrahim joined Anikaya Dance Company in the project “Conference of birds” for touring 2019-2020.
2021 Ibrahim got chosen to be one of the CEC ARTSLINK fellows. He is also working with nonprofessional people and children trying to give them an opportunity to explore more the vital powers.
